Following an illness of one year, Addison J. Spicher, 73, died in the family home, 701 Prospect Street, Brackenridge at 8:15 a.m. this morning, Feb 5, 1949. A son of William and Priscilla Butler Spicher, he was born in Natrona, Jan. 5, 1876 and spent all his life in this community. He was employed at the old Atlantic Bottle Company plant in Brackenridge for 38 years. His last employment was with the Department of Highways of Allegheny County for a period of six years until his retirement. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maude Leasure Spicher; three sons: Addison at home, and Albert and John of Brackenridge; two daughters: Mrs. Elsie Mason and Mrs. Edna Bonner of Brackenridge; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs. Lillie Calpass of McKees Rocks, and Mrs. Blanche Barrett of Templeton. Friends are being received in the family home on Prospect Street.
