Thomas J. Gee 80 of 723 Lilian died at the Ottumwa Hospital following a long illness. He was a retired section worker on the Burlington Railroad.
The son of Thomas and Christina R. Geah Gee he was born in Clark CO, MO Feb 4, 1889. He had been a resident of Ottumwa most of his life.
He was a member of the Salvation Army and the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes.
He was married to Margaret E. Farrington Sep 13, 1908 in Mt. Pleasant. She died in 1951. On Oct 30, 1953 he married Anna G. Buck at Rock Island, ILL. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Walter Gee of Ottumwa and Harold Gee of Bettendorf, a daughter Mary A. Davis of Kingman, ARIZ; a stepdaughter Mrs. Clementine of Buffalo, Arthur of Davenport, and Earl Buck of Buena Vista, CA. and Delbert Buck of Wichita, Kansas; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by by one son Richard and five brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Capt. Dale A. Coleman of the Salvation Army will officiate the services.
