James' obituary, which I have transcribed below is in the name of W.J. (Jim) Gee. According to Shaul Cemetery's records, the name I have shown on his memorial, James Walter Gee, was his correct name, and James is the name shown in the other records that I have found. His obituary also states that his date of birth was September 22, 1910. There is no gravestone for James; his grave is only marked by this funeral home marker, which gives a birth year of 1911. For this memorial, I have used the date of birth in James' memorial.

Update of October 16, 2021 - Thank you to Shaul Cemetery for making the concrete base for James and Albert's markers.

James married Idalena Fisher on September 29, 1936, in Cook County, Illinois. Idalena and James later divorced. He married Alice Louise Harnden November 3, 1962, in Livingston, Missouri, and Idalena F. Gee was remarried September 26, 1948, in Lancaster, Missouri, to Lee E. Kincade.
