Mary A. Anderson, 63, Darlington, died July 23, 2002, at her home.
She was born March 13, 1939, in Sinsinawa, the daughter of John & Emily (Kuhl) Digmann. Mary was united in marriage to Clayton "Keg" Anderson on Sept. 23, 1963 at Grace Lutheran Church, Darlington. She lived in the Darlington area all of her life until moving into the city of Darlington in 1985.
Mary loved playing with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed embroidery, cross stitch and acrylic tube painting.
Survivors include her mother, Emil Kail, Lafayette Manor, Darlington; her children, Lori (Keith) Hurst, Argyle, Carl Anderson, Darlington, and Carla (James) Gable, Shullsburg; a brother, Joseph (Peggy) Digmann, Rapid City, S.D. and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1939, her husband on Feb. 10, 1985, her stepfather, James Kail; a granddaughter Lynnete Hurst; a brother, Vincent Digmann, two sisters, Margaret Stimpson and Christina in infancy.
Funeral services were held July 27, 2002, at Erickson Funeral Home, Darlington with burial in Union Grove Cemetery, Darlington.
