-Adam Christian [sic], who long resided with Arthur Neil in the house directly across the way from the Middletown school house, died at the county house on Wednesday of last week, aged 78 years.

Adam Christian [sic] died ath the County Poor House on Wednesday of last week. He was 78 years old. Mr. Christian lived for a long time with the late Arthur Niel. Mr. Louis Neil of Olney, Shiawassce Co., Michigan, saw that he was properly buried in the New Paltz Rural Cemetery.

Louis Neil in a letter to the Times says: "Thay had fourteen inches of snow at Olney, Michigan, Jan. 18th." Also, that Adam Christian [sic] was 82 years old instead of 78 as published at the time of his death. Mr. Neil's mother is 78 years old.
