Mildred F. Obduskey - Pueblo Chieftain - November 12, 1997 - Mildred F. Obduskey, passed away Nov. 9, 1997. Wife of Steve Obduskey of the family home; mother of Ruth Ann (Thomas) Drabek and Dennis Keith Obduskey, both of Denver; grandmother of Deborah (Matthew) Kerr, Aurora, Colo., and Russell (Renee) Drabek, Fort Collins, Colo.; great-grandmother of Jeremy and Justin Kerr, both of Aurora, Colo.; sister of Garland (Edra) Keith, Mesa, Ariz., and Ruth Hansen, Pueblo. Preceded in death by her brother, Vernon L. Keith. She was a lifelong Pueblo resident, born March 28, 1920, to Sarah and Elza Keith and was a 1938 graduate of Central High School. She retired in 1977 from the Pueblo Army Depot after 31 years of service. Millie," as she was known by many, created detailed ceramic figures and fancy sewn embroidery work for friends and family and was especially fond of the family beagles, Star and Candy. Funeral service, 2 p.m. Thursday, McCarthy Rose Chapel, with interment, 1 p.m. Friday at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. Arrangements by McCarthy Rose Chapel, 329 Goodnight.
