Born in Lake Linden, MI she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Alexandrina (Gagnon) Venne. Mrs. Hodges was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church, a long time member of Quidnessett Country Club, an avid bridge player and loved to golf and cook.
She was the loving mother of Gail H. Gibson of Norridgewock, ME and Susan J. Hall of Narragansett and the loving grandmother of; Reid, Lisa, James, Annie and Jack. She was the sister of the late Florence, Arthur and Lawrence Venne.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., E. Greenwich.
A private burial will take place in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
