WINSLOW - Lorraine Marie Bickford, 71, of Clinton Avenue, died Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, at her residence under the loving care of her husband. She was born in Waterville on Nov. 28, 1933, the daughter of Henry and Mary Ann (Roy) LaBrie.

She was educated in local schools and was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church in Winslow. She was a member of the Waterville American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her loving husband, Dennis Carl Bickford of Winslow; two sons, Bryan K. Bickford and wife, Cindi, of Winslow and Wade Bickford and wife, Jan, of South Carolina; two sisters, Carmen Denis and husband, Wendall, and Pauline Jolicoeur and husband, Bill, all of Waterville; sister-in-law, Gladys Michaud of Vassalboro; a grandson, Jacob T. Bickford of South Carolina; and by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Roland and Albert Michaud; and a sister, Anita Dubois.

A graveside service will be held in the springtime in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Waterville and will be announced at a later date. (Morning Sentinel 9/24/2005)
