Passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Freeport Health Centre at the age of 71 years.

Willard is survived by his beloved wife Marlene, his two sons Steve (Brenda) Snider and Dale (Kelly) Snider, grandchildren Kevin, Jocelyn, Chloe, Kirsten, Seth and Dominic. Willard is also survived by his brother Cameron (Diane) Snider, and two sisters Doris Blake and Grace Lennox. Predeceased by his sister Helen Schiedel.

Willard's positive attitude for life and outgoing personality made him loved by many. He was a very generous man and always willing to help. Willard loved owning and operating his own business Snider Turf Equipment and then continuing to work with small engines well into his retirement. He loved the outdoors and was an avid boater and spent as much time as he could on the water. He enjoyed farming, hockey, football, gardening and spending time with his family.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Willard with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church, 245 Lexington Road, Waterloo on Monday, February 4 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow the service. Cremation has taken place and private interment will be at First Mennonite Cemetery, Kitchener.
