Otto KRAUSE was born on the 25th of December 1904 in Tarutino, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia.
Otto, the youngest son of Ferdinand KRAUSE & Justine BIEWAG, married Anna BANEK in Tarutino in 1930. He was conscripted into the German army in Poland and went missing during the war in 1945. He was never heard from again.
Several years after their son Arnold emigrated to Canada he was able to establish himself by working in a mine in the Yukon. He became the sponsor for his mother and his two sisters, so they could immigrate to Canada in 1951.
After some years, Anna and her daughter Erica moved to Alberta. Later, Eleonore also moved there.
