Hillebrand, Herbert, Mrs. Roy Schubel, Edward, Leo, Julia, Regina and John Jr., sister of Mrs. Robert Miler of New Berlin, Andrew, Mrs. Henry Kau and Laura; survived by 8 grandchildren. Funeral Wednesday June 15, at 8:30a.m. from residence, 934 S. 73rd st., to Holy Assumption church. Interment Holy Apostles Cemetery, New Berlin. She was a member of Third Order of St. Francis.

Marriage June 26 1900 Married Mathilda Snyder at Holy Apostles Catholic Church New Berlin Waukesha Wisconsin

He was very active in West Allis Milwaukee Politics and was one of the original 13 families to start and build Holy Assumption Catholic Church with much of the lumber etc coming from the Snyder Homestead Farm/Sawmill.

John and Mathilda had 9 children-8 of who survived.

He also served as alderman from the Second Ward in West Allis for six years and was active in politics for more than a decade. He was a member of St. Joseph's Benevolent society, the Knights of Columbus of Wisconsin and the Holy Name Society.

He died July 4 1937 at his home 934 S. 73rd Street their homestead after a long illness.

When John's Father died he was 1 year old. His Mother Suzanna married Michael Schamper, his stepfather, #77114285 who raised him as his own.
