Robert Bott, 72, of North Vernon, Indiana passed away at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Jennings Health Care Center in North Vernon, Indiana.

Mr. Bott was born October 22, 1940, in North Vernon, Indiana the son of Ludger and Clara Sell Bott. He married Malinda Pitts Wright on December 26, 1987 in Vernon, Indiana; she survives.

Mr. Bott owned and operated Bott's Lawn and Garden Center in North Vernon, Indiana for 45 years; he owned and drove a school bus for Jennings County School System for 20 years. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Indiana Nursery Association, St Mary's Church, Jennings County Chamber of Commerce and the Indiana School Bus Association. He enjoyed growing plants, traveling the United States, doing electrical work and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Malinda Bott of North Vernon, Indiana; two step-sons, Rev. Lewis (Karen) Wright of Seymour, Indiana and Mayor Dan (Linda) Wright of Vernon, Indiana; his foster daughter, Karaminae Luenebrink of North Vernon, Indiana; four brothers, Paul (Carolyn) Bott and Joseph (Mary) Bott both of North Vernon, Indiana John (Rita) Bott of Scipio, Indiana and Leo (Doris) Bott of Carrollton, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Karis (Aaron) Hassler of California, Lucas (Neeltje) Wright of Michigan, Kavan (Heather) Wright of Bloomington, Indiana, Jarrod Wright of Washington State, Geoffrey Wright of Chicago, Illinois, Murrel Luenebrink and Brianna (Zack) Smith both of Connersville, Indiana and Michael (Esther) Luenebrink of Columbus, Indiana; three great-grandchildren, Avery Hassler of California, Samual Wright of Michigan and Laery C. Smith of Connersville, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2013, at the St Mary's Catholic Church in North Vernon, Indiana with Rev. Jonathan Meyer officiating. Friends may call at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A rosary service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Burial will be in the St Mary's Cemetery in North Vernon, Indiana.
