CATCHINGS, Alma (Willis) Richardson 99, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her grandchildren on Saturday January 26, 2013. She was born January 13, 1914, in Georgetown, Georgia to the late Embry and Lucy (Smith) Willis. She retired from Navistar International. Her memory will be cherished by her half sister, Coddie Bevrit; grandson, Andy (Rose) McConnell, Jr.; 5 granddaughters, Cynthia Bullard, Alma (Wendell) Humphrey, Patricia Miller (Hayward Stringfield), Debra McConnell and Andrea Lassiter; three godchildren, Donald Jackson, Mattie Lee, and Michelle White, 26 great grand children, 27 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husbands, Johnnie Richardson and Walter Catchings; her daughter, Louise Manuel, 4 sisters, two brothers, 2 great grandsons and 6 nephews. Visitation will be Friday, February 1, 2013 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. with the family present at 12 noon at Greater Grace Temple, 380 W. Leffels Lane. Burial in Ferncliff Cemetery.
