Frank Vandell Seward, 85, of Idaho Falls, a truck driver, died Oct. 29, 1994, at Valley Care Center of a lung disease.

He was born March 9, 1909, at Whiting, Iowa, to Jesse and Frances Delashmutt Seward. He spent his childhood in Whiting, where he attended school. He moved to Idaho Falls about 1930, and had lived here since.

On Oct. 6, 1932, he married Evalena Fern Reynwald in Logan, Utah. They lived in Idaho Falls, where he worked primarily as a truck driver hauling livestock. He was preceded in death by his wife.

He enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his children, Gayle Francis Jensen of Rapid City, Iowa, Juanita Elaine Johnson, Jay Franklin Seward, Michael "Mick" Seward and Steve Charles Seward, all of Idaho Falls, and Keith Allen Seward of Seattle; a brother and three sisters, Steve Seward and Gertrude Hurlo, both of Whiting, Frances Anthes of Blackfoot and Essie Cardwell of California; 23 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a grandson.
