Services for Abner Jackson Gilbreath, 64, Quitman, are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in Forest Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy White officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens under direction of Cain Funeral Home in Quitman.
Pallbearers will be Keith Gilbreath, Tony Gilbreath, Dwayne Gilbreath, Roneell Pogue, Johnny Paul Wilson and Ernie Lee Irons.
Mr. Gilbreath died Monday morning at his home after a sudden illness.
He was born Aug. 14, 1919, in Yantis, and had resided in Wood County most of his life.
He was a carpet dealer and a member of the board of directors of the Wood County Central Hospital since 1981.
He was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Gilbreath, Quitman; two sons, Phillip Gilbreath, Garland, and Max Gilbreath, Quitman; two daughters, Jan McMillan and Breanda Taylor, both of Irving; two brothers, Hiram Gilbreath and Aaron Gilbreath, both Yantis; a sister, Syble Pogue, Quitman; and four grandchildren, April Rappe, Jeff Taylor, Justin Gilbreath and Joshua Gilbreath.
