Donna R. Foster, of Plainwell, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013. She was 77.
Donna was born July 27, 1935, in Cadillac, the daughter of Raymond and Sarah (Baldwin) Seeley. A member of the Kalamazoo Seventh Day Adventist Church, Donna volunteered at the Seventh Day Adventist Church Community Center following her retirement from Eckrich, where she was a loyal employee for 36 years. Donna loved to fish and to cook and bake, and she loved animals. A compassionate and loving person, Donna cared for others before herself and she would care for those in need.
On November 22, 1974, Donna married Jim Foster, who survives. Donna is also survived by her sons: Brian (Trish) Falor, Bruce (Patsy) Falor, Barry Falor, and Brent (Tammy) Falor; stepsons: Kenneth (Susan) Foster, and Steven Foster; sisters: Jane (Herb) Salisbury, and Judy (Ron) Greenman; a brother: James (Carole) Seeley; 11 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Denise; and a stepbrother, Robert Lorig.
Donna's family will receive friends on Thursday, January 31, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home in Delton, where Donna's funeral service will be conducted on Friday, February 1, 2013, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Daniel Ferraz officiating.
Burial will take place in Brush Ridge Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions to Hospice of Southwest Michigan or ASPCA will be appreciated.
