ARTESIA--Closed casket services for Rebecca Gomez Flores, 42, of N. Oak Street, will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Trinity Temple Assembly of God Church with Pastor Bobby Argo officiating. Burial will follow at San Marcos Cemetery.
She died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999, at University Hospital in Albuquerque.
Terpening and Son Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Rebecca Gomez Flores was born Sept. 8, 1956, in Carlsbad to Mariano and Irene Ortega Gomez. She married Harvey Flores on Nov. 6, 1981 in Eunice.
She was a lifelong Artesia resident and a housewife.
Mrs. Flores was a member of Trinity Temple Assembly of God and was active with the Girl Scouts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a sister, Martha Gomez.
Survivors include her husband, Harvey Flores of the family home; three sisters, Anita Renteria, Susan Gomez and Lisa Gomez all of Artesia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
