Bud Allen Blevins of 115 Wickliffe Ave., Campbellsville, died Saturday Night at the Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville after a long illness. He had been there since 1962.

He was the son of the late Charles and Mary L. Stubbs Blevins and was born in the Lemons Bend Community of Taylor Co. November 8, 1893. He was 73 at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Ada Mae Rucker, to whom he was married in 1914. Other survivors include four daughters and one son; Mrs. Dorothy (William) Brockman, Rt. 5, Campbellsville, Mrs. Mae (Fred) Gardner, Campbellsville, Mrs. Ruby (William) Hines, Campbellsville, Mrs. Corinne (Billy) Holcombe, Richmond, Va., and Boyce A. Blevins, Rt. 5, Campbellsville, eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Sublett, Campbellsville.

The Revs. William Beard and Thurman Scott were in charge of funeral services which were held on Tuesday, August 8, at the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Blevins was a member of the Good Hope Presbyterian Church at Lemons Bend.

Pallbearers were Rudolph Houk, James Givens, Garland Hay, Lilburn Kelly, Ernest Wright and Floyd Hay.
