FLOYDADA Services for Floyd Anderson, 84, of Floydada will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Anthony Sisemore officiating.

Burial will be in Floyd County Memorial Park under the direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home of Floydada.

He died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, in Lubbock.

He was born June 10, 1916, in Floyd County and attended schools in Lakeview. He married Mamie Wright on Aug. 24, 1938, in Paris, Texas. He was a retired farmer and a member of First Baptist Church. He was a lifelong resident of Floydada.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Ted of Floydada; a daughter, Martha Leatherman of Floydada; five brothers, Roy of Stockton, Calif., William of Everett, Wash., Edwin of Grand Junction, Colo., Louis of Floydada and Leon of Lindale; three sisters, Estelle Watson of San Angelo, Dorothy Nixon of Lubbock and Nita Kastner of Kerrville; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church Exodus Fund, 401 S. Main, Floydada, TX 79235.
