CARLTON P. SHANK, retired farmer and one of the oldest residents of upper Middletown Valley, died at his home near Myersville, Tuesday night at the age of 90 years.
He was the son of the late George and Mary Routzahn Shank, near Myersville.
He is survived by four sons and three daughters: Elmer H., Middletown; Albert C., Myersville; Hoy H., Washington, D.C.; Russell R., Myersville, Mrs. Carrie Adams and Miss Bessie Shank, both of Washington, D.C.; and Miss Mary E Shank, at home. He was the last survivor of his immediate family.
Services Thursday at 2 pm at the Lutheran Church, Myersville, in charge of Rev. Ralph Miller. Interment in the Lutheran Cemetery. Gladhill Company, funeral directors.
