Stones in Israel often have a place built in (cut out) for plants and even tiny gardens. That said, the memorials on Findagrave.com are not graves.
Adding flowers and other images make memorials nicer to view and less lonely. I also enjoy finding the flowers or other images from friends and family members who visit the memorials.
I take a lot of time sending edits and transcriptions to memorial managers. Many are declined. I do not bother to see why. So, if you decline an edit, you likely won't see me on that memorial again.
