Taylorville, Ill., June 30. -
William Ketchum, a tenant on the Roy Johnston farm in Johnson township, died at 7 o'clock Wednesday morning from kidney trouble after an illness of three weeks.
The deceased was born in Sangamon county, May 17, 1864, but passed most of his life in Christian county.
He was the son of John and Rozella Ketchum, deceased.
Six years ago the deceased was married to Mary Hently, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hently, of Clarksdale.
Surviving besides the widow is
one son, Roy Ketchum, aged 5 years.
The deceased had spent his entire life in agricultural pursuits.
The funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in the Anderson cemetery, the Rev. G.J. Holland, officiating.
