Mrs. Griffis was a member of Falmouth Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include children Barbara Decatur and husband Russell and Raymond Griffis and wife Eleanor; grandchildren Stewart and Connie; great-grandchildren Jessica, Stewart Jr. and Jacob; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband George Warren Griffis; brothers Raymond and Harold Young; and sisters Frances Payne, Virginia Bradley, Marie Chilton and Rose Ryder.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 29 at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford.
A graveside service will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
