Henry Clay Lorenzo Dow Arthur was the husband of Johnnie Caudle, son of John Arthur 3rd and Mary Griffith Arthur, brother of William Eaton, Jefferson Davis, Jessie Terrell, Eppie Hamilton, Charlotte Hildreth and Mary Arthur. He was the father of Francis, Christine, Charles and Lucille.
Dow was born and raised in Saltillo and spent most of his life there except for a time when he traveled with "The Caudle Family Entertainers". He met Johnnie Caudle when he joined the traveling show and they were married in 1906. He was a photographer, pharmacologist and a merchant in Saltillo.
He was my granddad.
