Thomas W. Love dies in Alabama

Thomas Watson Love, 70, a veteran employee of Hardin's Backery in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and a leader in Masonic affairs there for a quarter of a century died Sunday, December 4 in Druid City Hospital after an extended illness.
A native of Mississippi, he had made his home in Tuscaloosa for the past 31 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa and held offices in Masonic bodies of Tuscaloosa, the state and nation.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, December 6 at 2 p.m. at Spigener Memorial Park by Strickkland-Hayes.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Ralph L. Love of Los Angeles; a daughter, Mrs. C. P. Lovelace of Charlotte, N.C.; five grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Rev. John B. Love of Girrard, Kan., and seven sisters, Mrs. Gladys Crutchfield of Tuscaloosa, Mrs. Willie Mae Courtney, Mrs. Laura Bishop and Mrs. E. L. Helker of Memphis; Mrs. J. S. Dill of Walthall, Miss., Mrs. F. L. Edwards of Columbus and Mrs. Jack Kearney of Greenwood.
Active pallbearers were Bob Roddy, Hugh Walby, Thomas McDaniel, Joe Reed, Cecil Wilkins, Lilliard Young, Joe Wedgeworth, and Harry Martin.
