Mrs. Maude Keisler Smith, 84, of Rt. 3, Leesville, died Thursday in a Lexington hospital. Born in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Ann Crout Keisler. She was a member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lorene C. Keisler of Leesville and Mrs. Catherine Keisler of Sumter; a foster son, Floyd Blackmon of Sumter; a sister, Mrs. Lottie Harmon of Lexington; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Hilton Roof. The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to Cedar Grove Lutheran Church building fund or a charity. Barr Funeral Home is in charge. © The State, Columbia, SC, 8 Dec 1978
