Leesville, Jun 25 - John Walter Keisler, 95, well-known farmer of this county, died at 8:50 p.m. yesterday at his home near Leesville. Mr. Keisler, who made a wide circle of friends during his long life, retired from active farming some years ago. Surviving are two sons, D. E. and John G. Keisler of Leesville; three daughters, Mrs. Esther Summers and Mrs. Maude Crapps of Leesville, and Mrs. Lottie Harmon of Gilbert; and a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Cedar Grove Lutheran church, with interment following in the churchyard. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Keisler's wife, Mrs. Anne Crout Keisler, and a son, Dr. D. S. Keisler, died some years ago. © The State, Columbia, SC, 25 Jun 1949
