Had Been Ill Three Weeks
With Heart Trouble

After three weeks illness from heart trouble caused by over-lifting, Oscar Mussinan sank peacefully to rest at 8:30 o’clock Sunday night, March 23.
Deceased was born in Ripley, October 11, 1867, and passed his entire life here. His school days included instruction in both Catholic and public schools, but he did not go on to graduation. He was married to Miss Tabitha Fluharty on October 4, 1892, and she with their son, Ralph, and two grandchildren, Geraldine and Oscar Mussinan of Ashland, Ky., and the aged father, John Mussinan, compose the bereaved family.
In a business way, Mr. Mussinan worked at the warehouse in winter and was employed by the town most of the time during the summer.
His home life was a quiet and unusually happy one, and his host of friends included not only the adults of the village but scores of children whom he had won through kindness and attention. Mr. Mussinan was of unassuming manner and unostentatious in kindly deeds.
During his illness he became a member of Centenary M.E. Church, Rev. W.S. Dilbert, pastor, ministering to him. Rev Dilbert also officiated at the funeral services held at 2:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the Kirkpatrick Mortuary.
Burial was made in Maplewood Cemetery.
