She was born 1792 in Virginia & was the daughter of Thomas Hodges of Grainger County Tennessee. She married Maston Ross in Grainger County Tennessee before 1810. After Mastons' service in the war, the family moved to Morgan County Alabama with Mastons' parents & his 2 sisters & families.

We can't find Nancy or Maston on the 1860 Census in Tennessee or anywhere else. Nancy moved to Missouri by boat during the period of the 1860 census with Mary and her 3 kids.

Nancy is on the 1870 census reports living with son Charles "Uncle Charley". She died after 1870 & before 1880 in Missouri.
