OBITUARY

Visitation for Rudolph "Rudy" Edin of Lynden will be from 3 to 6 pm. Sunday at Greenacres Funeral Home, followed by a funeral at 11:00am Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Edin died at his home Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998. He was 87. Born April 9, 1911 to Carl and Teckla Edin in Camrose, Alberta, Canada, he lived in Tacoma before moving to Nooksack and attending grade school and high school there.

In 1936 he married Vernice Kirkham. He lived on a farm near Lynden and raised crops and beef cattle. Mr Edin also worked as a truck driver for Tom Brue in Everson and for the Lynden Co-op.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and reading. survivors include his wife of Lynden; son Darryl Edin of Lynden; daughter Judy Dube of Bellingha; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Foundation.
