Artie L. Coy, 85, of Owensboro died Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center in Owensboro. A native of Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Ken and Mary Pendleton Adkisson. She was retired from the Daviess County School System, where she was the lunchroom manager at Stanley School. She was a member of Stanley Baptist Church and enjoyed spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Coy, in 1971; a son, Charles Coy; brothers, Lewis and Thomas Adkisson; and a sister, Dolly Burden.
Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro.
