Mrs. James B. Blandford died about 1 a.m. Tuesday in Jewish Hospital. She was 50 and had been ill for two weeks. She lived at 6406 Johnsontown Road in Valley Station. She was a native of Louisville and was the former Cecilia Hamilton. She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Sister Ann Patrice, of the Ursuline Order, Patricia and Charlene; and four sons, James B., Jr., Danny, Steven and Charles Blandford, and one grandchild. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Rose Priory, Springfield, Ky. Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery. The body is at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Highway. In her burial entry in the St. Rose Sacramental Register IV, Rev. Father H. B. Scheerer, O.p. says she was a native of Washington County.
