Funeral services for Mrs. Leona Ellen Keltner, age 76, were conducted Sunday, May 17, at 2 p.m., at the Campbellsville Methodist Church. Rev. Felix Sanders, Rev. Roy Crenshaw, and Rev. Brooken Campbell were in charge of the service. Burial was in the Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Clarence Wheeler, Wilbur Weatherford, Millard White, Joe Murrah, Walter Bowen, and Ivan I. Davis. Mrs. Keltner was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Baker and Julia Ann Waggner Baker. She was born March 18, 1877 in Adair County, near Gradyville. Mrs. Keltner died May 15, at 4 a.m., at the home of her son, Daniel Keltner, Elkhorn. She had been ill for the past five years and confined to her bed for most of the past two years. Mrs. Keltner was a member of the Campbellsville Methodist Church. She united in marriage to Clem Keltner. He preceded her in death September 6, 1939. To this union five children were born. Surviving are: Mrs. Guy Weatherford and Mrs. Robbie Davis, Campbellsville; Mrs. C. W. Hollingshead, Louisville; and Daniel T. Keltner, Elkhorn. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Lou E. Mills, Green County. One son, Garnett Keltner and three brothers, Samuel Baker, William S. Baker and Ed Baker are deceased.

The will of Mrs. Leona E. Keltner was probated in Taylor Quarterly Court last week. In her will, Mrs. Keltner stipulated that all real estate owned by her to be sold and converted into money and after payments of debts and expenses, it is to be divided into five equal parts and given to her three daughters, Mrs. May Weatherford, Mrs. Ruby Davis, Mrs. Rosa Hollingshead, her son, Daniel T. Keltner and her grandson, James W. Keltner. She appointed her son, Daniel T. Keltner, and son-in-law, Guy Weatherford, executors of the estate.
