He was born in Mexico and lived in the Fulton area for 30 years He was an Army veteran and served during the Korean War. He worked at Armstrong World Industries for 30 years. Surviving are his wife, the former Jane Darin of Fulton; two sons. Robert L of Mexico and Stanley R Jr. of Fulton; a grandchild; a brother Robert at Fulton. Burial in Mexico VIllage Cemetery
