Bajo J Meenen died at his home October 29th. He was 24 yrs, 9 months, and 20 days old. He was born in the state of Oldersburg, Germany, came to America in 1883. He leaves a devoted mother, four brothers and a sister to mourn this loss. Thus one, by one, young and old we are passing over. The writer preached the funeral sermon to a large audience of sympathizing friends and relatives. Text 2 Corinthians 5:1. John T. Farley

Died October 29, Bajo Meenen of Mulberry township, Clay County, Kansas. He was a quiet industrious young man and held in high esteem in the community where he lived. The funeral took place at Riverdale cemetery, last Monday and was attended by a large concourse of people.
