Benton- Funeral services were held at 9 am today in St. Patrick's church for Geneva Baxter, 49, who died Friday in a Madison hospital. Rev. Joseph Haugh officiated, and burial was in the church cemetery.
Miss Baxter taught public school in Benton for the past 25 years and prior to that she taught at Sturgeon Bay.
She leaves her mother, Mrs. Clara Baxter, Benton; two sisters, Mrs. John Holmes, Sparta, and Mrs. Leo Ackerman, Pewaunee, and four brothers, Elroy, Madison, Francis, Oregon, Ambrose, Beloit and Leo, at home.
