Final rites will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Salas Brothers Chapel for Lloyd Adams, 66, who died Sunday in a Turlock hospital after a short illness.
Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
A native of Oklahoma, he was a Modesto resident for forty-seven years and was owner of Adams Guest Home. He was a member of the Hughson Odd Fellows Lodge and the Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Willie Adams of Modesto; four sons, Gene Adams of Denair, Ron Adams of Hughson, Jerry Melvin of Belmont and Wayne Melvin of Modesto; two daughters, Helen Mills of Hughson and Nancy Turpin of Oklahoma; three brothers, Jasper Adams of Modesto, Ben Adams of Turlock and Will Adams of Oklahoma; a sister, Pearl Morris of Hughson; and twelve grandchildren.
