Funeral services for Noe Acosta Sr., 73, of Killeen, will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen with Chaplain Patrick Vandurme officiating. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Mr. Acosta died Jan. 21, 2013, at a Temple hospital. He was born Nov. 8, 1939, in McAllen. He joined the U.S. Army in 1968 and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. He then settled in Killeen, where he retired in 1979.
Mr. Acosta was preceded in death by his mother, Leonor Cardonna; and his son, Noe Acosta Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Estella Acosta of Killeen; sons, Arnaldo Acosta and his wife, Veronica, and Adrian Acosta and his wife, Karin; two grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
