ADCOCK, Mrs. Lula Jane -
December 29, 1970 at a local infirmary. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Wesley B. Adcock, six daughters; Mrs. Grady Thompson, Nashville, Mrs. Lena Gann, Springfiled, Tenn. Mrs. Flory Martin, Nashville, Mrs. Mina Pomery, Nashville, Mrs. Louise Collins, Nashville and Mrs. Jonell Horton; two sons, Mr. Martin Adcock and Mr. Wesley P. Adcock. Four half-sisters, Mrs. Nila Dixon, Mrs. Ollie Ruth Russell, Mrs. Willie Shriver, all of Nashville and Mrs. Lillie Harwell, Orlando, Florida; Two half brothers, Mr. Hubert Maynard, Ashland City and Mr. Cordell Maynard, Nashville. 25 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Her remains are at the chapel of Pettus, Owen and Wood 4506 Charolette Ave. where services will be held at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon, Dec. 31 1970 by Bros. Maurice O'Neal and Jimmy Doris. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The following will please serve as honorary pallbearers; Dr. B. H. Webster, Dr. Bruse P. Poole Jr., Harry Chitwood, James E. Bates and the Deacons and Elders of River Road and East View(church) of Christ. Interment will be at Woodlawn.
