Services Thursday For A.F. Hutchins
Arthur F. Hutchins, 83, a railway trainman for 41 years, died Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. at his home, 402 Eighth ave., Marion.
Born Feb. 22, 1895, at Lamotte, the son of John F. and Stella Lias Hutchins, he lived in Marion for 41 years. He was married to Violet Peterson in Chicago Sept. 22, 1921. He was an overseas veteran of World war I. He was a member of the Marion Methodist church; the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen 319; Trojan lodge 548, AF and AM, and the American Legion.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are 3 sons, Willis D., Douglas A., and Michael L. Hutchins; his mother, and a sister, Florence White, all of Marion, and another sister, Hazel Millburn of Cedar Rapids.
Services: Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Murdoch chapel, Marion. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may [c]all at the Murdoch chapel after 7 tonight (Wednesday).
