Nancy was the oldest of seven children born to Jack Woodrow Sr., and Lona Mae (Lawing) Moose. She married Eugene Myers 'Gene' Cadieu.

MAIDEN - Nancy Jane Moose Cadieu, 76, of Maiden, passed away Monday, April 4, 2011, at her residence. She was born Feb. 18, 1935, in Catawba County to the late Jack Woodrow Moose, Sr and Lona Mae Lawing Moose. She was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church and also a member of the Women's Circle and Rich in Years Senior Sunday School Class. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Myers Cadieu, and one sister, Kay Goodson. She is survived by three brothers, Jack W. Moose, Jr. and his wife, Peggy, of Maiden; Raymond R. Moose, of Denver, and John E. Moose and his wife, Cindy, of Gastonia, and one sister, Betty Houser, of Dallas, and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday, April 8, 2011, at 4 p.m. at St. Martin's Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The interment will be held at Maiden City Cemetery. Pastor Nathan Yoder will officiate. Memorials may be made to St. Martin's Lutheran Church, Memorial Fund, PO Box 542, Maiden, NC 28650. Goodin-Drum Funeral Home is serving the Cadieu family.
