He was retired from the Steelton Plant of Bethlehem Steel Corp. as a roller foreman; a former chief of Oberlin Citizens Fire Company; and a member of the Dauphin County Volunteer Firemen's Association.
He was the widower of Ila M. Brunner Angeli. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia A. Humphreys, with whom he lived; a brother, George of Oberlin; three sisters, Anna Schmidt of Camp Hill, Catherine Poorman of Middletown and Elizabeth Nagle of Harrisburg; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Wiedeman Funeral Home, Steelton. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 9: 30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
