Garage foreman at Detroit's Railway Express Agency until his retirement 10 years ago. Mr. Geschwend died Friday while visiting his daughter, Mrs. Meta Giraard at her home at 26335 Woodlore, Franklin.
Mr. Geschwend, 75, had lived in Florida for the last six years. He was a member of Kilwinning Lodge No. 297, F. & A.M. and the International Association of Machinists.
Mr. Geschwend is survived by his wife, Clara; two daughters, Mrs. Girard, and Mrs Carolyn Benedick; a son, Martin; a sister and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Northwest Chapel of the William R. Hamilton Co., 18900 James Couzens. Burial will be in Woodmere Cemetery.
