Funeral services were January 21 at Sneed Funeral Chapel with Reid Shaub officiating. Burial was at Center Cemetery near Lometa.
Mrs. Burger was born June 20, 1930 in Lampasas, the daughter of Clarence Efford and Leola Evaline (Stone) Collier.
She had worked at Woolworth in Austin, and had lived in Dallas for a period of time. Mrs. Burger spent the last six years in Fredericksburg.
Survivors include two daughters, Christina Cotton of Rockdale, and Patricia Tye of Harker Heights; two sons, James Ward of Corsicana, and Johnny Lewallen of San Marcos; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Dorothy Jo.
