Dorothy McKay Magee of Buckingham, Pa. passed away in Neshaminy Manor, Warrington, Pa. on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was 90.
Mrs. Magee was a resident of Green Lynne, Levittown, Pa. for 50 years before moving to Buckingham Springs with her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and John Schada.
Dorothy was the adoring wife of John for 56 years who preceded her in death in 1997.
Dorothy was also preceded her in death by her parents, John and Susan McKay, her sister, Mary Stroble, her beloved son, John T. Magee, and her beloved friends, Mildred and George Rutledge.
Dorothy was a former member of the Merry Macs Seniors of Levittown and the St. Thomas Seniors of Croyden, Pa. She enjoyed her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was the cherished grandmother of Colleen M. Orr (James), Scott Magee (Judy), Katie Fleming (Lou), John T. Magee Jr. (Joanna), Sean P. McFadden (Dawn), Kelly A. Spurlock (Randy) and John E. Schada (Kristen).
Dorothy was the beloved aunt of Nancy Morck (Robert), and beloved mother-in-law of Sandy Magee-Taylor (Bob). Dorothy was the cherished great-grandmother of 18.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Dorothy will be held at Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Monday, Aug. 13th from 10 to 11:30 a.m. with a service to begin at 11:30 a.m. Private cremation will follow.
