Martin Luther Draper, 72,
of Garfield, Md., died suddenly yesterday at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Draper was a farmer.

He was the son of the late Hanson Clay and Mary Jane (Weddle) Draper of Garfield, Md.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mae (Lewis) Draper; daughters, Mrs. Katherine Kugler, Mrs. Evelyn Lewis, State Sanatorium; Mrs. Virginia Miller, Mrs. Charlotte Blnak, Miss Emaline Draper, Mrs. Isabella Baumgardner, Frederick,Md., son, Stanley Draper, of Smithsburg, Md., sisters; Mrs. Lula Lewis, Mrs. Alice Wolfe, Mrs. Bessie Kuhn, Mrs. Minnie Bowman, of Smithsburg, Md.; Mrs. Martha Lewis of Graceham; Mrs. Adeline Green; of Lantz, Md.; Mrs. Della Webster,of California.; Mrs. Virgie Easton of Illinois.; brothers; Albert Clinton Draper, of Canada; John A. Draper, Edgar C. Draper, Charles Draper, all of Smithsburg, Md., and six grandchildren

The body will be at the funeral home in Middletown until Tuesday, when it will be take to the Mount Bethel United Methodist Church,near Garfield,were it will lie in state between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. G. W. Shimer officiating,interment in Blue Ridge Cemetery.



Note: Obituary says he had a brother Charles Draper. I was told by his niece Kathleen Draper, Charles was the son of Edgar Draper, not Martin Drapers brother, but his nephew. Other brother is Harry Draper
