Anna married first Hamlet R. Brown, 17 Jun 1866, in Austin, MN. They had 4 children. Shortly after 1870 they moved from Austin to Los Angeles, CA. Anna's father, Rev. Hervey Isaac Parker, moved from Austin to CA in 1872 and it is likely that they all went at the same time. Their marriage was turbulent and resulted in divorce, 17 Mar 1877, in Los Angeles, CA. It was a messy divorce that involved accusations of infidelity and scandal. Divorce was very uncommon in the late 1800s.

Sometime after 1890, Anna moved with her two living children to Berkeley, CA. It is not immediately clear why she chose to relocate to Northern California. There is no proof of any relatives living there at the time.

Anna married second Henry H. Linnell, about 1897, in Berkeley, CA. They had no children. After Henry passed away in 1907, she lived with her daughter Ada in 1910 and her brother Edwin in 1920.

Anna was not interred with her second husband, despite keeping his name after his death. She was interred with Hervey Yale Brand, her grandson through her daughter Eva C Brown who married Joseph Brand.

Children:
-Orell Sylvia Brown (1867-1871)
-Angie Parker Brown (1870-1871)
-Eva Cornelia Brown (1873-1964)
-Ada Parker Brown (1878-1953)
