Maggie Lois (Ward) Dickinson, age 87, born in Penelope, TX, and long time resident of Lake Forest, Daphne, AL, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013. She was preceded in death by her late husband of 48 years, Bobby J. Dickinson, daughter, Madelyn Coursey, two brothers, V.C. Ward, Herbert L. Ward, and two sisters, Ethel Ward and Viola Rainbolt.She is survived by her daughter Deborah (Al) Morgan of Spanish Fort, AL, granddaughters, Traci (Tom) Lartigue of Mobile, AL, Stephanie (Jonathan) Llanera of Pensacola, FL, three beautiful great grandchildren, Ben Lartigue, Isabella, and Alexander Llanera, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sara (Wallace) Burtcher of Oklahoma City, OK, Corene Abernathy of Crescent, OK, son-in-law, Richard (Jackie) Coursey of Grove, OK, special niece, Teresa (Charles) Gordon of Dallas, TX, other nieces, nephews, and dear friends, Shirley and Clarence Kossow of Fairhope, AL.The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the wonderful staff of BayRidge at Westminster Village for the loving care Maggie received the last few years of her life.A celebration of her life will be held at graveside, Jubilee Memorial Gardens in Daphne, AL, on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at 11:00 am.In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of the South at 5644 Girby Road, Mobile AL 36693.
