Randall possible Randolph prior to arriving in America, came to the American Colonies on the GEORGE in 1620-1621.
This probably at Dr. John Pott's expense and on February 16, 1625, he was a servant in Pott's Household in urban Jamestown. By January 30, 1625, he had moved to Pott's leasehold in the Governor's Land, where he was described as an 18 year old servant.
The General Court noted that Randall Holt was obliged to serve Dr. Pott until Christmas [early January 1627.}
Around 1629 Randall married Mary Bailey the daughter and sole heir of John Bailey.
In September of 1636 Randall patented 400 acres at the head of Lower Chippokes Creek and in July 1639; he acquired 490 acers of land on Hog Island along with 400 acers his late wife had inherited there. Sometime prior to March 9, 1640; Randall Holt [1] sold two African to Merchant George Menefie, owner of a lot in urban Jamestown and a plantation in Charles City.

My note: If Randall's mother's maiden name is Pott, Is she any connection to Dr. Pott? Possibly her brother. I have not found Randall's parents coming to American Colonies.

Gravesite Details

Note: This Cemetery is a guess. This Holt family owned much of Hog Island.
