Darlington- Theresa S. Jacobson, age 37, of Darlington, Wisconsin, died on Tuesday, October 18, 1994, at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County, Darlington, Wisconsin, after seven years with cancer. The former Theresa S. Bennett was born on September 23, 1957, in Cuba City, Wisconsin the daughter of James J. and Audrey (Brotzman) Bennett. She graduated from Shullsburg High School in 1976. She was married to Timothy P. Jacobson on September 26, 1987, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She worked at the Lafayette County Nursing Home as a nurse's aide. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Darlington, it's Council of Catholic Women; the Darlington Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary; Ladies Pool and Bowling Leagues.
She is survived by her husband, Tim; a daughter, Jillian Teres Jacobson; and a son, Timothy Alex Jacobson, all at home; her parents, James and Audrey Bennett of New Diggins, Wisconsin; a sister, Julie (Tim) McDermott of Darlington; three brothers, Jamie Bennett of Cuba City, Tony (Debbie) Bennett of Dickeyville, and Jeff Bennett of New Diggings; her grandmother, Lucy Bennett of Shullsburg and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mass of Resurrection will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 22, 1994 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Darlington, with Father Tom Coyle officiating. Burial will be at the Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 until 9 pm on Friday, October 21, 1994 at the Steil Camacho Funeral Home, Darlington where a rosary service will be at 8 pm.
